1. Mechanical Design

2. Separation
Slug catcher vessels achieve varying levels of separation depending on the internal configurations. 3. Delivery
Delivery of a slug catcher vessel can range from 10 weeks for a small vessel up to 21 weeks for a 10’ ID X 60’ T/T for a larger vessel. Primary driver of longer deliveries are plate availability (mill runs can take up to 4-6 weeks). It also important to consider the cost of delivery for these vessels. Depending where it’s being shipped (example: Malaysia), a vessels freight cost can be as much as 50% of the vessel.
