At high pressure and in sour service, ZHM’s unique extrusion process allowed the use of high strength low alloy carbon steel fabrication, saving time and money. This Slug Catcher also included an isolated sludge manifold to aid in clean-out.

Design: (2) 6 – finger Slug Catchers


Gas Flow Rate: 740 MMSCFD (million standard cubic feet per day equal to 20.95 million m³/day), indicating high throughput.

Storage Capacity: 14,500 barrels (likely total 2,305 cubic meters (m³)), accommodating liquid slugs and ensuring stable downstream processing.

Design Pressure: 2,103 psig or 14.5 MPa (megapascals), necessitating robust materials and construction.
