1 Boigas torch combustion device incineration


I. Product Overview

The biogas torch is an industrial combustion device used for the safe incineration of biogas (mainly containing 35% to 75% methane). It converts methane into CO₂ and H₂O through high-temperature oxidation, significantly reducing greenhouse effects and safety hazards. It is suitable for scenarios where biogas production is unstable or requires emergency discharge, such as wastewater treatment plants, farms, landfill closures, kitchen waste treatment facilities, and pharmaceutical factories.

II. Core Functions and Safety Design

1. Fully Automatic Control

Intelligent Start/Stop: Automatic ignition through pressure sensors or gas cabinet level signals; starts when biogas pressure reaches the set value and shuts down when too low.
Multiple Ignition Assurance: Uses high-energy electronic igniters, equipped with a long-lasting lamp (shuts down at extremely low pressure), achieving a 100% ignition success rate.

2. Safety Assurance System

Flame Monitoring and Cutoff: Real-time detection of flame status and temperature, automatically cutting off biogas supply in case of extinguishment.
Backfire Prevention Design: Double protection with pipeline flame arresters and burners, eliminating backfire risks.
Power Outage/Fault Protection: Quickly closes the gas source with a rapid shutoff valve during power outages to prevent leakage.

3. Environmental Performance

Efficient Combustion: Combustion rate ≥ 98%, no black smoke, no visible flames, boundary noise < 80 decibels.
Low-Temperature Emission Reduction: Combustion chamber temperature maintained at 850℃–1000℃, reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx) and sulfur oxides (SOx) generation.

III. Technical Features and Structure

1. Material and Durability

Main Body: 304 stainless steel shell, corrosion-resistant, with a lifespan of up to 15 years.
Burner Head: 310S high-temperature resistant alloy steel, corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant (>1000℃).
Lining: Aluminum silicate refractory ceramic fiber modules or refractory ceramic fiber blankets, providing thermal insulation and noise reduction, temperature resistance of 1260-1400℃, with outer surface temperature ≤ 60℃.

2. Combustion Technology

Blue Flame Combustion: Achieves atmospheric diffusion combustion through injectors, with stable flames and minimal impact from gas pressure/composition fluctuations.
Staged Combustion: Multi-stage nozzles and flame stabilization structure, adapting to flow fluctuations (adjustment ratio 1:10), preventing flame blow-off.

3. Flexible Configuration

Air Assist System: Natural air intake, no forced air supply needed.
Control Mode: Supports manual, automatic, and remote control (such as PLC or central control room linkage).
Power Requirements: AC 220V/50HZ, power 2-3 kW.
Methane Concentration Support: Stable combustion at methane concentrations of 30% to 75%.
Installation Method: Skid-mounted or tower integrated, with pipe flange connections.

In 2012, we successfully developed a high-pressure arc-type high-altitude igniter specifically for torches, increasing the reliability of torch ignition devices by more than tenfold, and extending the cumulative lifespan of electrical ignition components from a few hours of semiconductor high-energy ignition to tens of thousands of hours. Based on this, we developed a fully automatic torch ignition device. In 2013, we achieved the successful extinguishment of the torch while ensuring its safety and reliability, focusing on research and breakthroughs for relatively weak components, employing the "Jacob's Ladder" discharge principle to extend the lifespan of ignition electrodes, resulting in an accumulated discharge lifespan of over 8000 hours; we also applied ultraviolet flame detection technology to the torch, increasing the lifespan of the flame detection component by several dozen times, with response times reduced to below 0.2 seconds (response time adjustable); we also incorporated thermal gas flow detection technology and pressure transmitters into the torch system, significantly enhancing the stability, accuracy, and reliability of the torch automatic ignition.

The company uses high-temperature and water-resistant high-pressure cables, successfully addressing the safety issues of bare high-pressure lines in torch high-pressure arc ignition, which are prone to breakage and affected by strong winds, ice, and other phenomena, greatly improving the reliability of high-voltage electrical transmission for ignition.

In December 2012, the company was rated as an advanced unit in the first industry integrity construction, and in January 2018, it was recognized as a credit performance unit for the "Guotai Cup" for the year 2017. In April 2024, it passed the ISO 9001/2002 international quality management system certification, ISO 14001 environmental management system certification, and OHSAS.
